Our purpose purpose is to create an atmosphere conducive for worship and God’s presence, through our service. We are there to maintain order, control and security in the house, in a warm and welcoming way. We aim to transform people and transform nations by providing world class excellent service.
All age groups are welcome to join as long as the individual is capable and willing to carry out the duties expected of them.
PROGRAMMES THAT THE MINISTRY IS ENGAGED IN OR IN THE FUTURE
- Cleaning of 55 Kwame Nkrumah and 147 Robert Mugabe auditoriums.
- Providing assistance to members in need, through the provision of groceries.
- Service at weddings and other church functions as permitted by the church.

HOW ONE CAN GET INVOLVED
All one needs to do for starters is attend a group meeting on either Saturday afternoon (when there is a Saturday meeting) or Sunday morning. If attending the Saturday meeting they should come to 147 Robert Mugabe Road by 1pm and if attending Sunday morning meeting they should come to the ICC by 7am. This is unless the time and location of the meeting has been changed.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What can i do if i want to serve but i don’t have the relevant uniforms?
A: You can still join even without all the uniforms. For new male members they need a black suit, black shoes, plain black socks, long sleeved black shirt and a long sleeved white shirt. Until the complete set of uniforms has been attained he can serve wearing the black suit, black/white shirt and an appropriate tie. For new female members they need at least a black skirt (longer than knee length), long sleeved black blouse, black court shoes and “barely black”/chocolate pulling socks. Gentlemen must have their hair short and tidy and must have their beard shaved in a tidy manner. Ladies must keep their hair long and tied back in a neat and tidy manner.
Q: Am i required to buy my own uniforms?
A: Yes. Uniforms are purchased every year and are used from one conference to the next. The uniform remains yours, but is to be used specifically for NLCC services or functions as directed by leadership.
Q: Is there a probation period which i have to go through when i join?
A: Yes. All new members go through an evaluation period. New members also attend classes conducted every Sunday morning.
Q: When i join which department do i start of in?
A: Every new member is rotated through all three of the departments. At the end of this probation period, the member is then evaluated and if all necessary conditions are met he/she is then placed in a specific department.
